Mission Statement

The mission of Looking Fur Love Dog Rescue is to provide re-homing services to dogs whose owners are no longer able to care for them, with an emphasis on assisting military and hospice families.

By incorporating basic training, utilizing foster homes and providing educational materials on responsible pet ownership, we will advocate for the needy, overlooked and forgotten dogs.

*Looking Fur Love will be at PetSmart in Gonzales 10:00am til 3:00pm the first Saturday of each month*

We have an age requirement of 21 years of age or older to adopt or foster one of our dogs.  We give preference to local and in state adopters.

Our shirt order has arrived! We'll have them at our adoption events.

We have received our scan tags from Albertsons, if you shop Albertsons please get your scan tag to help us out.  It doesn't cost you anything, all we need you to do is have them scan it each time you check out so that we can earn money from the Albertsons Community Partner Program.
